Sunday was too nice of an evening to not head out to the Viera Wetlands and take a few pics of the local wildlife. Unfortunately, Viera Wetlands was not particularly interesting, the number and variety of animals out was not as high as normal. The only image I liked from the wetlands was this shot of two great blue herons:
Like usual, we headed down to the Dan Click Ponds around the corner from the Viera Wetlands. Fortunately for us, the second pond was a lot lower than usual. I don’t know why, but it was probably for irrigation purposes. This lower level lured all kinds of birds to feast in the shallow waters. There was so much stuff to take pictures of, I didn’t know where to begin!
